The Rifle Branch Library is sponsoring a Pumpkin Decorating Contest. All are challenged to decorate a pumpkin as a favorite children's book character. Use paper, glue, paint, markers, pipe cleaners, fabric, or any other craft items to decorate your pumpkin, but NO CARVING! Your pumpkin must be delivered to the library by Friday, October 23. Pumpkins will be displayed in the library through Halloween and the winners will be announced on Friday, October 30.

There will be 3 entry categories:

1. Children/ Family
2. Teens 12-17
3. Adults 18 and up

The public is invited to vote for their 3 favorites in each age category:

• Most creative
• Best representation of the Character
• Overall Favorite

The winners will be calculated and announced on Friday, October 30, and small prizes will be awarded!
