The Carbondale Branch Library holds its Get Your Uke On! class on Monday, March 3 and every first and third Monday of the month at 6 p.m. Beginners and experts of all ages are encouraged to bring their ukuleles and a song to share. Each session starts with a sing along, followed by a short lesson, and ends with a Uke Jam. This class is not only a fun, accessible way to build community, but also an easy way learn the ukulele, and play and sing together. Non-Ukers are welcome to sit in.
