Songs of the Cowboy: Romance & Reality

Western Americana singer/songwriter Almeda Bradshaw presents a one-hour program using PowerPoint, narration, and song to give a historical overview covering the events and conditions that led to the cattle drive era cowboy and how this uniquely western figure entered into the hearts and homes of every American. You will learn how the lowly cowboy laborer became our nation's most endearing and durable folk icon.
