The Glenwood Springs Branch Library will celebrate National Poetry Month's Poem In Your Pocket Day on April 21. Pick up a poem at various locations throughout Glenwood Springs, including businesses, schools, and the library. Read and share your poem throughout the day. Come to the library and write or illustrate a poem on the plaza or add a line to a community collaborative poem. We will host an Open Mic beginning at 6 p.m. During this program, people are encouraged to read original poems or favorite poems by other poets, or to be part of the listening audience.
