Join us at the Carbondale Branch Library for Ukulele nights. Bring your ukulele and a song to share if you have one and Get Your Uke On at the Carbondale Branch Library. For beginners through experts, age 9-99.

We’ll start off each session with a sing along, followed by a short lesson and a Uke Jam. What better way to have fun and build community than to play and sing together! And is there a more fun and easily accessible instrument than the ukulele? Well, maybe the kazoo and you are welcome to bring one along. Non-Ukers are welcome to sit in.

To quote ukulele virtuoso Jake Shimabukuro, “if everyone played the ukulele, the world would be a better place.”

January dates are: Monday 1/6, Wednesday 1/15, Monday 1/20, and Wednesday 1/29. Loaner ukuleles available.
