Long before the first ski runs were ever carved into the mountains of Vail and Beaver Creek, Eagle County drew adventurous settlers and pioneers who brought life to the mines and the Eagle River Valley. Local journalist and historian, Kathy Heicher, will introduce you to many of the Eagle County characters.

This is the third installment of the Winter Lecture Series, which is jointly presented by the Frontier Historical Society and the Glenwood Springs Branch Library, and sponsored by Gary Hershoren and Ilene Harris.
