Local teacher, Susy Ellison, spent three weeks aboard the NOAA Ship Rainier along the coast of Southwest Alaska as a Teacher-at-Sea. She will talk about her experience aboard a NOAA research vessel, the science of hydrography, and why mapping our coastlines is important.
