Staff Review:

I expected a raw and gritty album when I pushed play on P!nk’s new release The Truth About Love and she did deliver. However, my preconceived notions were challenged after about the third song in: this album has a softness to it. I was pleasantly surprised. Don’t get me wrong, this album still has the gritty, raw edge, cut to the bone attitude; but it was like she put child proof bumpers on a table’s sharp corner to soften the blow.
P!nk knows what works for her and she has a way of expressing herself through music like no other artist out there.
The Truth About Love is P!nk’s sixth studio album. It is in my opinion one of her best. And while I do recommend it, don’t forget about her previous titles which can also be found at the Garfield County Libraries.
