Sandy Pickard from Solar Energy International will share a story about “Light and Life” on Wednesday, October 19, at 6:30 p.m. at the New Castle Branch Library's temporary location. When Dr. Laura Stachel went to Africa to document high infant mortality rate, she didn’t expect to find herself involved in a quest for light. Come and hear what she did that has changed not only the clinic she worked in, but also clinics in Haiti, Rwanda, and Mexico.
