Rifle Branch Closed

The Rifle Branch Library’s last day in its temporary facility at 139 W 3rd Street will be Sunday, October 24th. After closing at 5 p.m. that day, the library will remain closed for one month. During this time the library will move into its newly constructed building at 207 East Avenue. The Grand Opening Celebration for the new library will be on Saturday, November 20, at 10 a.m.

Your Garfield County Libraries card is valid at all six of our branch libraries. While the Rifle Branch is closed, you may check out and return materials to any of our other branches. You may also elect to pick up holds at another branch. For more information on our other branch libraries' locations, hours, and contact information, please visit our Locations page.

Please note that all Rifle Branch programs will be suspended while the library is closed. The only exception is the Rifle Branch's annual Halloween parade. The parade will take place on Friday, October 29. Meet in front of the NEW library building (next to City Hall) at 10:00 a.m.; the parade will depart at 10:30 a.m. sharp!
