Resume Building Workshop / Taller de Currículum Vitae

Our GoToWorkshops@YourLibrary series features a Resume Building Workshop at the Glenwood Springs Branch Library from 2-3 p.m. on Saturday, February 4. (Click here to learn more about the GoToWorkshops@YourLibrary series, which teaches computer and job-seeking skills.)

Learn how to create an effective resume that will get you an interview and win you the job. This workshop covers creating and organizing content, formatting your resume, and tailoring your resume to fit any job application. Learn how to utilize key words, make your resume stand out, and maximize your resume presentation. All you need is the willingness to learn. Advance registration is required. This class will be offered in English with support in Spanish for English Learning participants. Our Silt Branch will host an English session on March 15.

Nuestra serie de talleres GoToWorkshops@YourLibrary, que le enseña a usar las computadoras y a buscar empleo, ha preparado un taller para crear un currículum vitae en la Biblioteca de Glenwood Springs de 2 a 3 pm., el sábado 4 de febrero.

Aprenda como crear un currículum que le garantizará una entrevista de empleo. Este taller se abarca en crear, organizar y delinear el formato de su currículum y como adaptarlo para cualquier trabajo. Aprenda a utilizar palabras clave, resaltar y maximizar la capacidad de presentación de su currículum. Venga con las ganas de aprender. Deberá registrarse con anticipación. Este taller está diseñado para personas con inglés como un segundo idioma y por lo tanto será en inglés. El instructor es bilingüe y puede ayudarlos en inglés y español.
