Public Meeting: New Glenwood Springs Branch Design
You dreamed…we listened and were inspired! Come learn more about the design of your new library. On Monday, November 7, at 5:00 p.m. the Garfield County Libraries will unveil the Schematic Design for the new Glenwood Springs Branch Library. Project architects Dennis Humphries and Willis Pember will join the Library’s Executive Director Amelia Shelley, Glenwood Springs Branch Manager Pat Conway, and Library District Board Members to review the findings from the Mindbreaking session and go through the entire design process to date. The meeting will be held at the current Glenwood Springs Branch Library at 413 9th Street and is open to the public. We want to answer your questions and hear your opinions! The new branch will open at the corner of 8th Street and Cooper Avenue in 2013. This public meeting will be followed by a meeting of our Board of Trustees at 6:30 p.m., which is also open to the public. For more information call the library at 945-5958.
