Pay Fines

You have several options when it comes to paying fines: you may pay online by credit card or you may pay by cash, check, or credit card at any of our branch libraries.

To pay online, login to our catalog with your name and library card number. Once you've logged in, and only if there are fines associated with your account, you will see a link for Click to Pay Fines Online on the left side of the page. The beta version of our catalog will send you to the classic catalog to pay fines online and you will be asked to sign in again. To avoid this step, click here to go directly to the sign-in page of the classic catalog.

Please note that you might not be able to pay your fines online if one of the following applies:

1.  Your fines are under $5.00

2.  You have 10 or more books overdue

3.  Your card has expired

If you have questions or problems with paying fines online, please contact your local branch library.

Overdue fines are assessed at the following rates:

DVD/VHS/video game ... $1 per item per day

Interlibrary loan ... $1 per item per day

All other types of material ... $0.10 per item per day

There is a maximum per-item overdue fine as follows:

DVD/VHS/video game ... $20 per item

Interlibrary loan ... $20 per item

All other types of material ... $10 per item

The maximum fine does not include any fees that may be accrued as the result of referral to a collection agency.
