Make Your Own Rock Candy!

As part of the Big Read celebration, travel back to the 1930s by learning how to make homemade rock candy.

Grade schoolers and middle schoolers are welcome to join us at the Glenwood Springs Branch Library on Friday, February 22nd from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. for a free afternoon of fun. After making rock candy, we’ll enjoy depression era games such as Hopscotch, Yo-yo’s, and popular board games. So come listen to Big Band music, eat freshly popped popcorn, and enter into a raffle for a 1930s-themed prize! The library is located at 413 9th Street.
