Job Searching Workshop
Our GoToWorkshops@YourLibrary series features a Job Searching Workshop at the Rifle Branch Library from 2-3 p.m. on Saturday, December 10. (Click here to learn more about the GoToWorkshops@YourLibrary series, which teaches computer and job-seeking skills.)
Feel like your job searching efforts are in vain? Check out this workshop to learn how to find the right job that fits your skills! This workshop will cover how to use social media, networking, newspapers, online sources, job fairs, and Craig's List to find a job. This workshop will also discuss wage expectations, communication skills, and more! All you need is the willingness to learn. Advance registration is required. Sign up at the Rifle Branch Library or call 625-3471.
There are classes offered for both English and English Learning participants; this session will be in English. The Parachute Branch will also host an English session on December 17. English Learners can attend a session at our Glenwood Springs Branch on January 8, at our Gordon Cooper Branch in Carbondale on January 18, or at our Silt Branch on January 19 for assistance in both English and Spanish.
