Experience the 1930s Teen Event
Come to the Parachute Branch Library on Monday, February 26th from noon to 3:00 p.m. and experience a time warp back to the 1930's. Listen to music, learn to swing dance (lessons included), and feast on foods your great grandparents ate. Then, discuss "The Grapes of Wrath" with your peers.
The swing dance lesson will be taught by Maurine Taufer, Dance Director from the Glenwood Springs Center for the Arts. Taufer has taught, directed, and choreographed for over 22 years. She is excited to bring you the most favorite dance style of the 1930’s.
Lunch reservation are required.
To make a reservation or for more information, contact the Parachute Branch Library at (970) 285-9870.
