DACA Info Session @ the Library

McGuire Law, an immigration law firm, is coming to the Glenwood Springs and Gordon Cooper Branch Libraries to host a free information program about the new Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) policy. DACA allows qualifying undocumented immigrants who were brought to the United States as children to receive deferred legal status and work authorization. The program will include a presentation about the policy, including eligibility requirements, methods of application, risks and benefits of applying, and where to find more information. These free information programs are designed to provide accurate and up-to-date information about DACA. In addition, attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions about DACA or any other immigration-related issue and receive answers from a qualified immigration attorney. McGuire Law will be at the Glenwood Springs Branch Library on Wednesday, October 17 at 7 p.m. and at the Gordon Cooper Branch Library on Thursday, October 18 at 12 p.m. This bi-lingual Spanish/English event is free to the public, and everyone is welcome to attend.
