Computers for Beginners Workshop

Our GoToWorkshops@YourLibrary series features a Computers for Beginners Workshop at the Rifle Branch Library from 2-3 p.m. on Friday, December 16. (Click here to learn more about the GoToWorkshops@YourLibrary series, which teaches computer and job-seeking skills.)

Job seekers need to know computer and internet basics to compete in today’s job market. This workshop will provide an overview of basic computer skills and techniques. Learn how to save documents, create folders, copy and paste, use a mouse, and more! All you need is the willingness to learn. Advance registration is required. Sign up at the Rifle Branch Library or call 625-3471.

There are classes offered for both English and English Learning participants; this session will be in English. Other sessions in English will be held at the Glenwood Springs Branch Library on December 4, at the Gordon Cooper Branch Library in Carbondale on December 7, at the Parachute Branch Library on December 8, and at the Silt Branch Library on December 15.

English Learners can attend a session at our Glenwood Springs Branch on December 18, at our Gordon Cooper Branch in Carbondale on December 21, at our Parachute Branch on February 9, or at our Rifle Branch on February 26 for assistance in both English and Spanish.
