Basic Internet Workshop (Taller Básico de Internet)

Our GoToWorkshops@YourLibrary series features a Basic Internet Workshop at the Rifle Branch Library from 2-3 p.m. on Sunday, January 29. (Click here to learn more about the GoToWorkshops@YourLibrary series, which teaches computer and job-seeking skills.)

Participants will learn the basic skills needed to use the Internet. Learn how to use a search engine, save pages in a list of Favorites or Bookmarks, download graphics, and more! All you need is the willingness to learn. Advance registration is required. Sign up at the Rifle Branch Library or call 625-3471.

This workshop will be in English with support in Spanish for English as a Second Language participants. Our Glenwood Springs Branch Library will host a session in English on January 22. English Learners can attend another ESL session at our Parachute Branch on January 12 for assistance in both English and Spanish.

Nuestra serie de talleres GoToWorkshops@YourLibrary, que le enseña a usar las computadoras y a buscar empleo, ha preparado un taller básico de Internet en la Biblioteca Rifle de 2 a 3 pm. el domingo 29 de enero.

Los participantes aprenderán los conocimientos necesarios para usar la Internet. Como así también a usar un motor de búsqueda, guardar páginas a una lista de favoritas, descargar imágenes y ¡más! Este taller está diseñado para personas con inglés como un segundo idioma y por lo tanto será en inglés. El instructor es bilingüe y puede ayudarlos en inglés y español.
