Author Visit & Book Signing with Colorado Author Sandra Dallas

The Parachute Branch is pleased to welcome Sandra Dallas for an author visit and book signing on September 16 at 6:30 p.m. The branch will host the event in its new community meeting room, part of the extensive recent renovation.

Sandra Dallas is a well-known Colorado author of numerous books including the New York Times Best-selling Persian Pickle Club and this spring's well-reviewed Whiter Than Snow. She writes both fiction and non-fiction and frequently sets her stories in historic Colorado locations. Find Sanda Dallas' books in our catalog.

This event is a benefit for the Garfield County Public Library Foundation which supports our libraries through funding for programs such as Books To Go, a partnership with Meals on Wheels and the Grand River Hospital District, and our annual Summer Reading Program. The Foundation was formed in 1997 and serves as the 501(c)(3) umbrella for the District's six Friends of the Library organizations. Read more about the Library Foundation.

Tickets are available at all six branches for $25 and include heavy hors d'oeuvres. A cash bar will also be available with wine and beer.
