Astronomy for Everyone: Size & Scale of the Universe
Garfield County Libraries presents an exciting program about the universe, stars, and other celestial wonders. This hands-on program is hosted by astrophysicist, Kevin Manning, who is a former NASA consultant. Following an indoor presentation, we will all go outdoors to view celestial objects in the night sky, such as the rings of Saturn, craters on the Moon, and more. This free program will be held on at the Carbondale Branch Library on Tuesday, September 3 at 7 p.m.; at the New Castle Branch Library on Wednesday, September 4 at 7 p.m.; and at the Silt Branch Library on Thursday, September 5 at 7 p.m.
