Reel Readers
Read the book and join us for the movie (even if you haven't read the book). A discussion follows the movie. The food varies each month so be sure to phone ahead and find out what crazy food is planned. This month's the selection is: Extremely Loud and Incredible Close by Jonathan Safran Foer.
Program takes place on Friday, September 21st from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.
Best Books 4 U with Mrs. Braby
Looking for something great to read? Who better to help you pick just the right book than your favorite librarian, back in the library? Join Mrs. Braby as she highlights some of the best books she read over the summer. Teens can join us at the Parachute Library on Monday, September 17th from 1:00 to 2:00 pm. Bring your friends and your library card.
Anime Club
Get ready for Round 2 of Anime Jeopardy! New categories, new questions and more prizes! Bring any middle of high school manga/anime savvy friends you have and hear up for a fun afternoon with sweet prizes! Dewa sono toki ni!

Paying for College Workshop
College costs can be staggering and it seems they are going up all the time. Join Colorado Mountain College's financial aide counselor with the latest information on grants, loans, scholarships and loans. If you have questions like: Who qualifies for what or what is a work study this is the place for you. Parents and students are encouraged to attend.
Program takes place at the Parachute Branch Library from 6:00 to 7:00 pm on Monday, September 24th.
Learn Microsoft Word
You look at that blank page and wonder how to use all those icons? Start on a letter and get stuck on just how to format ? This 2 part class is designed to help you become a confident Microsoft Word user. Class is from 9:00 to 10:00 am on Tuesday, September 18th AND September 25th at the Parachute Branch Library. Class size is limited.
The Good, the Bad, and the Gross Goes Slimy
The Good, the bad the gross goes slimy! It oozes, it squishes and it makes nose. It's SLIME. If you are in grades 4-6 come join us at the Parachute Branch Library on Monday, September 10th from 2:00 to 3:00 pm to make your own before your chance slips away.
American Girl Tea Party
Calling all fans of the American Girls! Whether you have read all of the books in this series or just started, join other "American Girls" to talk about the books and pick out some favorites. Bring your doll if you would like to show her off. Fun games, crafts and a drawing for the new American Girl of 2013 book will be featured. There will be a scavenger hunt for teens at the Silt Branch Library on July 9th from 12:00 to 1:00 pm. After completing the scavenger hunt, pizza will be served.
