McGuire Law, an immigration law firm, is coming to the Glenwood Springs and Gordon Cooper Branch Libraries to host a free information program about the new Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) policy. DACA allows qualifying undocumented immigrants who were brought to the United States as children to receive deferred legal status and work authorization. The program will include a presentation about the policy, including eligibility requirements, methods of application, risks and benefits of applying, and where to find more information.

Want to play a Game? We've got Card games, Dominoes, Checkers, Chess, Uno, and more. Music? We'll be streaming or playing CDs as well as providing rhythm instruments so you can jam and dance along. Twister anyone?  Music and Game day is the third Tuesday of the month at 4:00 p.m. at the Gordon Cooper Branch Library.

Come to the Gordon Cooper Branch Library on the second Tuesday of every month from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. for PAWS to READ!  Children in grades K-5 can sign up to read to the dogs for approximately 15 minutes. Featuring dogs and handlers/literacy specialists from Heeling Partners of the Roaring Fork Valley.
