5th Element K-2 Class @ New Castle
Children in kindergarten through 2nd grade are invited to the New Castle Branch Library on Friday, October 26 from 12 to 2 p.m. to learn about Native Americans. Mr. Stanley. Children will create sand paintings and make models of different types of dwellings. Supplies and snacks will be provided. Gingerbread Houses and Santa!
Santa Claus is coming to town on Wednesday December 5th and he will make a stop at the Glenwood Springs Branch Library! Children (toddlers through fifth grade) and their accompanying adults are invited to come to the library to make a gingerbread house at 4:00 p.m. and Santa Claus will visit us at 4:30 p.m. All materials will be provided but please bring your own camera.
Popcorn and a Movie en Español
Come and join us at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 27, for popcorn and a movie! The Glenwood Springs Branch Library is hosting a showing of the holiday movie "Elf" rerecorded in Spanish. This movie is rated PG and is recommended for kids aged elementary school and up. For more information call the library at 970-945-5958.

Seasonal Songs with Sue
Come to a winter holiday sing along with our Youth Services Librarian and award winning children's musician, Sue Schnitzer. This will be an interactive and fun program for children through elementary school age and adults. Program will take place at the Gordon Cooper Branch Library on Monday, December 17th at 6:00 p.m.
Teen Zone
Teen Zone takes place at the Gordon Cooper Branch Library Community Room on Wednesdays at 4:00 p.m. Teens are welcome to study, surf the net, read, write, draw, or hang out. You can bring your own laptop or borrow one of ours.
Teen Advisory Group (TAG)
Teens (ages 13 to 17) are invited to be part of the library Teen Advisory Group (TAG). Share your thoughts about activities and resources you would like to see at the library. TAG will meet on the second Tuesday of each month from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Light snacks will be served.
