Join the library for a Winnie the Pooh themed tea party to celebrate author A. A. Milne's birthday. Children are invited to dress up as their favorite Hundred Acre Wood character for snacks, a short story, and the Winnie the Pooh movie. Make and decorate your own hula hoop and learn the basics of hooping! Did you know that Hula hooping for half an hour can work off as many calories as cardio kickboxing or step aerobics? Hooping also improves large and small motor skills, increases balance, coordination, flexibility and strength. Plus it brings a smile to everyone’s face!
Class size is limited to 15 people, and there will be a $5.00 material fee payable at signup.

If you enjoy gaming, don’t miss PlayStation Tuesdays at the Glenwood Springs Branch Library! Meet new friends and enjoy some friendly competition. PlayStation Tuesdays will be held on the second and fourth Tuesdays of January from 4 to 5:30 pm. and is for 6th through 12th graders. WRITE ON with the Carbondale Library Writers' Group!
Held at 6:30 pm on the second Monday of each month, the goal of this group is to provide a supportive environment for writers of all genres; from the novice to the experienced. Attendees will have the opportunity to share and explore their own writing, their peers’ writing and writing in general. Open to all writers and future writers, teen and adult.
Feel free to bring a snack or dinner.

The Good, The Bad and The Gross will be held on Monday, January 13 at 3:00 pm for kids in grades 4-6. This program is hands-on learning at its best! Each meeting will feature the good, the bad and yes, the really gross!
