Santa Claus is coming to town on Wednesday December 5th and he will make a stop at the Glenwood Springs Branch Library! Children (toddlers through fifth grade) and their accompanying adults are invited to come to the library to make a gingerbread house at 4:00 p.m. and Santa Claus will visit us at 4:30 p.m. All materials will be provided but please bring your own camera.

This will be an interactive and fun program for children through elementary school age and adults. Program will take place at the Gordon Cooper Branch Library on Monday, December 17th at 6:00 p.m.
Santa Claus will be at the Rifle Branch Library on Saturday December 22nd! Join us at 1:00 p.m. for a special storytime as Santa reads "Twas the Night Before Christmas." Afterwards you will have a chance to tell Santa your Christmas wishes as well as create a special Santa craft!
As part of the Rifle Holly Days festivities, the Rifle Branch Library will be hosting holiday fun for kids including Christmas crafts, treats, and horse drawn buggy rides to Centennial Park to help decorate a special tree for the tree lighting ceremony! Stuck at home during your holiday break? Teens are invited to join us at the New Castle Branch Library for a matinee viewing of The Santa Clause while decorating (and of course eating) some delicious holiday cookies.
Celebrate Thanksgiving at the Rifle Branch Library! Teens are invited to create Thanksgiving table centerpieces out of interesting and unusual materials on Friday, November 9th at 1:00 pm. Materials are provided for by the library. Program is limited to 15 participants.
Join us at the Rifle Branch Library on Friday November 16 at 1:00 pm for the children's Thanksgiving program Cookie and a Craft. Children will decorate holiday cookies and create Thanksgiving table centerpieces. Materials limited to 60 children.
Join us at the Rifle Branch Library for a special Halloween arts and crafts! On Friday, October 26 at 1:00 we invite children to decorate their own trick or treat bags. Jack-O-Lanterns, bats, witches and ghouls galore! Materials provided by the library, no participation fee necessary. Supplies are limited to the first 60 children.
