5th Element 3-4 Class @ New Castle

 Children in the 3rd and 4th grade are invited to the New Castle Branch Library on Friday, April 5 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Come and have fun playing math games on the internet, on iPods, and also find out how math is involved in Wii video games with Mr. Paul Stanley. Come to a Living Wills Clinic at the New Castle Branch Library on Thursday, February 25 at 6:30 p.m. to learn about the basics of estate planning. Estate planning is something you do for your family. Get it done, and you'll feel better knowing that you've taken care of them. This free clinic is hosted by Alpine Legal Services.

Food for Fines

 The Garfield County Libraries are excited to announce the Food for Fines program will has returned for the month of February. Bring in non-perishable food items to any of the six branch libraries, and for each item you donate you will receive a $1 credit toward overdue fines currently on your account (not lost materials or fees). All items donated will be given to the local LIFT-UP. Last February there were 4,407 items collected by the libraries!
