Book Sale

Book lovers rejoice! The Friends of the Parachute Library is holding its Spring Book Sale March 24-26. Swing by the Parachute Branch between 10am-8pm on Thursday, 10am-5pm on Friday, or 10am-4pm on Saturday. Support the Friends of the Parachute Library and come home with a bookbag of must-reads! Friends of the Gordon Cooper Branch Library host their annual fall book sale from Friday, September 23, through Monday, October 3, during regular library hours:

Monday & Wednesday: 10 am - 8 pm

Tuesday & Thursday: 10 am - 6 pm

Friday & Saturday: 10 am - 5 pm

The branch is closed on Sunday.

Friends of the Parachute Library will sponsor a book sale on Saturday, September 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Historical Society School House on C.R. 300 in Battlement Mesa. Everything, including like-new books, will be $1 or less. Friends of the Parachute Library members and teachers with proper ID are invited to peruse the selection on Friday, September 17, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Individuals and businesses who become members of Friends of Parachute Library at the book sale are entitled to a free book of their choice.

The Silt Branch has an indoor book sale scheduled to coincide with Silt Hey Day festivities; the sale will run from Thursday, July 29, to Saturday, July 31, during regular library hours: 10 am-8 pm on Thursday; 10 am-5 pm on Friday, and 10 am-5 pm on Saturday. Come beat the heat and pick up some late summer reading!

Bargains will be plentiful at the upcoming book sale sponsored by the Friends of the Glenwood Springs Branch Library. The sale will be held from Saturday, October 1, through Saturday, October 8. Don't miss the special preview for Friends members on Friday, September 30, from 5-7 p.m. Friends memberships will be available to purchase at the door for $10/person.
