Headed to college? Need to kick your reading level up a notch? Don't think you can read a book at the "classic" level?
It's almost here! The movie version of The Hunger Games, Suzanne Collins' blockbuster novel (and first in the trilogy), opens on Friday, March 23, 2012. Join your fellow THG-fans for a movie release party on March 16 at 6 p.m. at the Rifle Branch Library. Since THG deals with some pretty intense subject matter, the party is for readers in middle school and older. For more information, contact Amy at 625-3471.
Readers in grade 3 through 5 are invited to BookTalk at the Gordon Cooper Branch Library every third Tuesday of the month from 4-5 p.m. Share with others the latest good book you've read, talk about its juiciest parts, and hear about other awesome books to read!
