Come in from the cold on Saturday, December 28 at 2:00 pm for hot chocolate and crafts! Bring your holiday greeting cards and learn to make a creative collage. This program is for teens and adults and will be held at the Parachute Branch Library.
Come celebrate Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights! We will be hosting a Hanukkah Party at the Carbondale Branch Library on Monday, December 2 at 4:00 pm. We'll sing Hanukkah songs, light a Menorah, play with Driedels (spinning tops), and eat Latkes (potato pancakes). This year Hanukkah begins the night of November 27, and ends the night of December 5. Do you have a favorite Hanukkah recipe? Feel free to bring a dish of latkes, donuts, or cookies to share. This event is open to everyone: those who celebrate Hanukkah and anyone interested in learning more about this holiday.
Join your friends after school at the New Castle Branch Library on Thursday, December 5 at 4:30 pm for an afternoon of arts and crafts. Snacks will be provided!
Come to the New Castle Branch Library and make some cool decorations for your Christmas tree or last-minute cards for friends and family. We will provide an assortment of options for teens to get creative! This program will be held on Saturday, December 14 at 2:30 pm.
Join us on Saturday, December 7 from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm as we celebrate Rifle's Holly Days with a craft extravaganza! The Rifle Library is teaming up with the City of Rifle Recreation Department to bring you a day a fun , including crafts, treats, caroling, and an old fashioned horse drawn hay ride! You can also create a special ornament to help us decorate our library Christmas tree!
Tackle it Tuesday will be held on November 12 from 10:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the Parachute Branch Library for all quilters, stampers, needlecrafters, and scrapbookers. Drop in with your handicraft project for a fun day of crafting, food, and friends. Tables, irons, ironing boards, and cutting mats are all provided. Bring your own lunch; other refreshments are also provided.

The Carbondale Branch Library invites you to improve your art skills or learn something new as we work on a project in the Teen Artist Workshop on Thursday, October 3 at 4:00 pm. This workshop features different projects and artists every month, which will be held on the first Thursday of every month. This month, join Youth Services Librarian Jeannine to make beautiful or edgy jewelry out of hardware like nuts, bolts, and washers as part of the Middle School Madness series.
