Summer Reading Teens
All teens in the New Castle Branch Library and Silt Branch Library Summer Reading Programs are invited to Bowl for Books at the Burning Mountain Bowl on Monday, July 23rd at 3:00 pm. Space is limited, so please sign up to attend at your home library. Admission is one summer reading log. Grades 7-12 only, please. Come to the New Castle Branch Library on Monday, July 30th at 3:00 pm where we're getting out the Wii games, board games, and craft supplies and dishing up the ice cream for an end of the summer celebration. Come to the Gordon Cooper Branch Library in Carbondale at 10 am on Tuesday, June 19th where Norther Ute member Skyler Lomahaftewa will present an exhibition of Ute and Native American singing, dancing, language, dance regalia, story, and other cultural items.

The Alex Project celebration will be held on Wednesday, July 25th, at the Gordon Cooper Branch Library from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. This is where you'll meet your partner, rate your book, share your thoughts with the group, and hear about the books that other teams read.
