Gardening 101

Certified master gardener Pat McCarty from the CSU extension office will discuss tips and review what you can do to make the most of your garden this year. Feel free to bring any questions you may have, as there will be a question and answer session after his presentation. The program will be held at the Silt Library on Tuesday April 30th from 6-7:30pm.

Basic Bike Repair and Maintenance

Is your bike in the garage collecting dust? Does repairing your bike sound intimidating? The Silt Library will host a class on the basics of repairing and maintaining your bike presented by Dan Mickelson. Topics include fixing a flat, replacing a worn out tire, knowing how to lubricate your bike, and more. Dan is a bike enthusiast but not an expert mechanic so we will be raffling out two $20 certificates to a bike shop to help with those tricky repairs and get you out riding on your bike a bit more! This program is free and will be on Saturday April 20th from 1-3pm.
