Music with Mary Sue & Cari

  Boulder musicians Mary Sue & Cari will perform at the Silt Community Center on July 11th at 1:00 pm.  Mary Sue & Cari use their bodies, guitars, mountain dulcimer, ukulele, frog, and any other unusual instrument that strikes their fancy for a rocking good time.

Connie Elstun's Bunnies & Birdies Magic Show

 Magician Connie Elstun brings the Bunnies & Birdies Comedy magic Show to the Silt Community Center on June 27th at 1:00 pm.  Connie and her fun, furry, and feathered cast star in a magic show that will delight children of any age.  Watch as birdies appear from nowhere and the children help Connie and the bunnies to find the lost prizes.

Puppets with Out of the Mud Theater

 Carbondale-based Out of the Mud Puppet Theater kicks off the Summer Reading program at the Silt Community Center at 1:00 pm on June 13th.  This puppet show is guaranteed to captivate everyone's imagination!

Teen Bowling for Books

  All teens in the New Castle Branch Library and Silt Branch Library Summer Reading Programs are invited to Bowl for Books at the Burning Mountain Bowl on Monday, July 23rd at 3:00 pm.  Space is limited, so please sign up to attend at your home library.  Admission is one summer reading log.  Grades 7-12 only, please.

Go2Workshops@YourLibrary features a Basic Troubleshooting Workshop for Mac Users. This workshop will teach users what to do when things go wrong. Bring your Mac and your questions! This workshop will be taught by ByteMarks owner, Donna Dalton.

Computers for Beginners, Level 1

Go2Workshops@YourLibrary is offering a Computers for Beginners, Level 1 workshop! This workshop is for true beginners – no computer experience necessary. This class introduces computer vocabulary including both hardware and software terms. Learn to use the mouse and keyboard. Learn basic computer tasks in a Windows environment, and learn the differences between a document and a program. There are classes offered for both English and English Learning participants. All you need is the willingness to learn! Sign up in advance by calling or visiting your local branch.
