Wednesday the 5th
Friday the 7th

After that the library will be closed for the remainder of the month as we move to the new location!

The Silt Branch Library will offer storytimes every Wednesday and Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. starting on Wednesday, October 10th.

For the month of August, the Silt Branch Library will host a children's storytime every Wednesday and Friday at 10:00 am.

On October 31st come join the Halloween party at the Silt Branch Library at 4:00 p.m. in the afternoon. This program is geared for preschool and elementary-aged kids. We encourage participants to come dressed up and ready for fun.  

Pat McCarty, a certified master gardener from the CSU extension office, will discuss tips on how to best care for your garden and lawn this fall. The program will be held at the Silt Branch Library on Tuesday October 16th from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.

Join us at the Silt Branch Library on Tuesday, October 23 at 7 p.m. to see Laurie Dameron in concert. Dameron, a Billboard Magazine award recipient, has been playing the guitar for over 40 years and singing even longer. Come to the library to hear music from her three CDs: “Utah Dream," "Looking Through the Blue,” and “I Can’t Wait to See You Again.” Listen to her music here.

Join us at the Silt Branch Library on Saturday, November 17th from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. for the final discussion on the American Civil War. Sarah Swedberg, Ph.D, Associate Professor of American History at Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, will provide a background lecture on the subject and will lead the conversation on the selected readings: ʺAmerica's Warʺ anthology (Part Five).

Join us at the Silt Branch Library on Saturday, November 10th for the fourth of five discussions on the American Civil War. Sarah Swedberg, Ph.D, Associate Professor of American History at Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, will provide a background lecture on the subject and will lead the conversation on the selected readings: "Crossroads of Freedom" by James McPherson and ʺAmerica's Warʺ anthology (Part Four).

Join us at the Silt Branch Library on Saturday, November 3rd from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. for the third of five discussions on the American Civil War.
