Iced Teas From Around the World
The Rifle Branch Library is celebrating the Adult Summer Reading Program's Novel Destinations by serving iced teas from around the world! Join other adult readers every Wednesday in June through July from 3-6pm in the Friends Bookstore to drink exotic teas (served iced) and discuss novel destinations from your reading!
The Amazing Race
Come to the Rifle Branch Library on Tuesday, June 28th at 1pm to compete in The Amazing Race! You compete in teams on challenges from around the world in a race to the finish! The object of this game is to use your library skills to find the materials you need to collect to survive. You will be rewarded with fish for your accomplishments. Fish earned throughout the game may be used to buy prizes at the fish auction at the end of the game.
Bugs, Bon Appetit
Challenge your taste buds to an afternoon of bug sampling! Grasshopper? Cockroach? Delicious! This is for real! Come to the Rifle Branch Library on Tuesday, June 14th at 1pm to take advantage of this fun opportunity to sample bugs. Bring your friends--there is plenty to go around.

Craft Day
The Rifle Branch LIbrary is having a craft day on Thursday, June 30 at 1pm. Kids can choose from a variety of crafts to express their creativity!
Folklorico Dancers
Summer is here, and the Library District's Summer Reading Program is in full gear with lots of fun programs! Come see the Vallet Folklorico de Santa Maria dancers perform at the Rifle Branch Library on Saturday, July 9th at 10:30am.
Baile folklórico, literally "folkloric dance" in Spanish, is a collective term for traditional Latin American dances that emphasize local folk culture with ballet characteristics - pointed toes, exaggerated movements, highly choreographed. Don't miss this exciting performance!
Ice Cream Social
Summer is here, and the Library District's Summer Reading Program is in full gear! Come to the Rifle Branch Library on Thursday, July 21st at 1pm for an ice cream social! You scream, I scream, we all scream for ICE CREAM!!!
Magician Ann Lincoln
The amazing magician, Ann Lincoln, is coming to the Rifle Branch Library on Thursday, July 28, at 1pm. Ann Lincoln will amaze you with her incredible magic tricks and expert juggling. Plus, she's sure to tickle your funny bone!

The Denver Zoo is coming to GCPLD!
The Denver Zoo is bringing a van full of animals from around the globe to GCPLD! Come see all the animals at the Rifle Branch Library on Friday, July 15th at 1pm. This program is only for children in Kindergarten to 5th grade.
Charlie "The Noiseguy" Williams
Check out "The Noiseguy" at Thursday, June 23rd at 1pm Rifle Branch Library. Charlie "The Noiseguy" Williams returns with his "Many Noises, One Mouth" show. Charlie is a vocal sound impressionist who can imitate the sound of lightsabers, cars, planes, and much, much more! He's also a kids' comedian, author, illustrator, and onomatopoet.
