On Wednesday, March 28, Tara Charlesworth will be teaching string painting from 10am-12pm. String painting is a creative art form that involves an assortment of tempera paint colors and a few long pieces of yarn.

Computers for Beginners, Level 1
Go2Workshops@YourLibrary is offering a Computers for Beginners, Level 1 workshop! This workshop is for true beginners – no computer experience necessary. This class introduces computer vocabulary including both hardware and software terms. Learn to use the mouse and keyboard. Learn basic computer tasks in a Windows environment, and learn the differences between a document and a program. There are classes offered for both English and English Learning participants. All you need is the willingness to learn! Sign up in advance by calling or visiting your local branch.
Computers for Beginners, Level 2
Go2Workshops@YourLibrary is offering a Computers for Beginners, Level 2 workshop! This class will review the basic computer tasks in a Windows environment and will review the differences between a document and a program. Learn to create documents, save them in the right place (hard drive or USB), and perform proper shutdown procedures. Completion of “Computers for Beginners Level 1” or basic computer, mouse, and keyboard skills are required to attend this workshop.

Successful Transitions Workshop for High School Students
Go2Workshops@YourLibrary features a Successful Transitions Workshop for high school juniors and seniors! This 2-hour workshop is designed to help students prepare for a successful transition to post-secondary education or employment by helping students prepare winning resumes and cover letters. This workshop is divided into two parts: the first hour will feature an interactive lecture, and the second hour will give students the opprotunity for individualized assistance. Bring your laptop and current resume or cover letter if you'd like, or just bring yourself and willingness to learn!
