Dana & Susan Robinson, an acoustic duo is from Asheville, North Carolina, are performing at Garfield County Libraries this November. Their sound is a blend of oldtime mountain music and contemporary songwriting featuring the guitar, fiddle, mandolin, and banjo.

Create a Horrifying Halloween Wreath

Decorate your home, bedroom or locker with our Horrifying Halloween Wreath! Program takes place at the Rifle Branch Library on Friday, October 19th at 1:00 p.m.  Participants are limited to 15, so sign up now for this positively creepy craft!

Bedtime Storytime

Put on your pajamas and come to the Rifle Branch Library to enjoy stories, songs, crafts and a bedtime snack on the second Monday of each month at 6:30pm!

Wii Wednesdays

 Every Wednesday after school at 4:00 p.m. the Rifle Branch Library will host open play on our Wii console. Teens from middle school and up are invited to join in for games and after school snacks!

Genealogy Boot Camp: Who Do You Think You Are?

You’ve heard the saying: “Who do you think you are?” On Saturday, November 3rd from 10:00 am till 5:00 pm at the Rifle Library’s Genealogy Boot Camp you will have the chance to find out. We will show you how to start researching your family's history! You will learn the rules of genealogy and all about home sources-including the paper trail and the people we know. You will discover how to fill out a pedigree chart and family group sheets.

Preschool Halloween Parade

Come join us at the Rifle Branch Library on October 31st for our annual Preschool Halloween Parade! Show off your costumes on Halloween day as we Trick- or- Treat through city hall and around the East Third street businesses! The parade begins at 10:30am, but please show up early to gather for the parade!

Teen Reads Book Club

 Join Rifle Branch Library's Teen Reads Book Club. We will kick off our book club this year on September 17th at 6;00 p.m.

Popcorn and a Movie

Come and join us at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 14th, for popcorn and a movie! The Rifle Branch Library is hosting a showing of the movie "Hugo" based on the book "The Invention of Hugo Cabret" by Brian Selznick.  This movie is recommended for kids aged elementary school school and up.

Bedtime Storytime

 Come and enjoy stories, songs, crafts and a bedtime snack on the second Monday of each month at 6:30pm! Bedtime storytime has changed days starting in September due to our new hours of operation!

Pizza and a Movie

Come to the library on Friday, August 31st at 7:00 p.m. to watch the newly released DVD The Hunger Games.  Pizza and drinks will be served!  This event is for teens. Middle school and up ONLY!  There will also be a drawing for a copy of the The Hunger Games movie DVD.
