 Spend a magical afternoon as we celebrate the New Year with a Fairy Tea Party. Whatever you wish your fairy to be, let's make that fairy be!

Party takes place at the Parachute Branch Library on Saturday, January 19th from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.

Space is limited. Reservation required. Grades 3-5 only.

Read the book Girl Interrupted by Susanna Kaysen then come watch the movie version on our giant screen with movie theater sound! Those of you who have not read the book are also welcome to enjoy the screening. There will be food, so call ahead and find out what’s cookin and stay after the film to gab.

Film screening will be at the Parachute Branch Library on Friday, January 18th at 6:00 p.m.

 Join the Friends of the Library and their invited guest Dr. Gerhard Rill. Dr Rill will share his passion...healthy feet. If you have ever had hurting toes you know how important this can be. Gerhard guarantees to entertain and inform!

Gerhard Rill is a graduate of the Munich School of Orthopedics. He completed his residency in the United States then practiced in Germany for several years before relocating to Colorado.

Designed for grades 4-6 this is HANDS on learning at its best. Each meeting we challenge you to come ready for the good, the bad, and yes, the really gross!

Program meets at the Parachute Branch Library on Monday, January 14th from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Want to get off to a great start, make 2013 your best year? Join us for a 3 session Saturday devoted to your health. From 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Parachute Branch Library join Tiffany Chapman as she looks at the best exercises for you. From 10:30-11:30 Dr. Coleman will discusses preventive medicine with a question and answer session. Round out your healthy day with Mickie Hosack as she talks on diet and nutrition. Enjoy a lunch with dishes you may have never tried, guaranteed good and good for you!

Lunch reservations must be made by Friday, January 4th.

Calling all quilters, stampers, needle crafters, and scrap bookers!  Want to have a day of fun and accomplishment?   We’ll have tables, irons, ironing boards and cutting mats all set up for your convenience.  Drop in between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. at the Parachute Branch Library and bring your project for a day of crafting, food and friends. Bring your own lunch, refreshments will be provided.

Love a great story?  Watch it come alive and take part in this interactive storytime with Miss Marie on Mondays at 11:00 a.m.

Come to the Parachute Branch Library on Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m.  Finger play, music and great stories along with playtime make the a highlight of the toddlers day.

Join us on December 19th at 4:00 p.m. for Christmas movie laughs featuring Will Ferrell in ELF. Popcorn and cupcakes provided.
