Reel Readers: Special Edition
Join us at the Parachute Branch Library on Friday, April 19 at 6:00 pm for a special mother/daughter edition of Reel Readers! Read the book Mary Poppins (Original edition or the Disney version) and watch the movie on our giant screen with movie theater sound! Those of you who have not read the book are also welcome to enjoy the screening. There will be food, so call ahead and find out what’s cookin. Stay after the film to gab.
Blood Drive

Tackle It Tuesday
Calling all quilters, stampers, needle crafters and scrap bookers! Want to have a day of fun and accomplishment? We’ll have tables, irons, ironing boards and cutting mats all set up for your convenience. Drop in and bring your project for a day of crafting, food and friends. Bring your own lunch, refreshments will be provided.

The Good, the Bad and the Gross: Oil and Water Don't Mix

The world is moving to electronic mail. It is environmental friendly, super easy, fast, and costs nothing. This 5 week class will get you started and at the end you will be very comfortable with all the features of your new email. Class is designed for beginners. Gmail is the email provider that will be taught.
Class takes place at the Parachute Branch Library on Tuesday mornings in April from 9:00 to 10:00 am.
Storytime Goes on the Road to the Grand Valley Rec Center
Storytime goes on the road with a special edition at the Grand Valley Recreation Center. Young artists will get to see their work on display at the "Anything Goes Exhibition" after a special storytime featuring a funny little boy that says," I ain't gonna paint no more."
Last day to see “The Dust Bowl” exhibit at the Parachute Branch Library
Don't miss the last day to see the “The Dust Bowl” exhibit at the Parachute Branch Library. This exhibit examines the story of the Dust Bowl and is free and open to the public during regular library hours. Striking during the depths of the Great Depression, the Dust Bowl blasted the hopes and hard work of people living in the Great Plains. For those who lived through it, the experience was unmatched as an example of ecological calamity and a test of personal will.
