So, what books do you find "GROUNDBREAKING?" Share them with us, and you could win a lunch for two at a local restaurant!
Groundbreaking reads are books that have had a major impact on you personally, important works of literary achievement, or things you just think everyone should read. Come to the library and fill out a form to share your groundbreaking reads and receive one entry for each book that you share. The winning entry will be pulled on August 5th.
Play-Ground Theatre Company: The Green Scene
Introducing the world’s first organic superhero, SuperNatural. Born on Earth Day, raised on peace, love, granola, and a variety of trail mixes, SuperNatural is here to sage our planet! Can SuperNatural and his sidekick, Sprout use their positive energy to save the day from Toxics Waste's Pollution Potion? This show also highlights another swashbuckling adventure with recycling pirates, Captain Underwear and Long John Slipper. That’s not all, kids gets a chance to show off their knowledge in The Green Game Show.

Watch and participate in Ready to Read Storytime as we make your favorite children's stories come alive with books, games, songs and more!
Ready to Ready Storytime takes place at the Parachute Branch Library on Mondays at 11:00 am.
Toddler Time
Join us at the Parachute Branch Library for Toddler Time Storytime where unique stories, silly dances, new words, playtime, and more become the highlight of your toddler's day!
Toddler Time takes place on Wednesdays at 10:00 am.
Ladies Who Do Lunch Bunch
Join us at the Parachute Branch Library as we discuss a book and enjoy a pot-luck lunch. Ladies Who Do Lunch Bunch meets on Tuesday, May 21 at 12:00 noon.
Anime Club
Do you love to read backwards? Do manga and graphic novels appear in your dreams? If so, this club is for you!
Anime Club takes place at the Parachute Branch Library on Monday, May 20 at 3:00 pm.
Reel Readers
Read the book and come watch the movie version on our giant screen with movie theatre sound. Even if you have not read the book, you are welcome to come and enjoy the screening. There will be food, so call ahead and find out what’s cooking. Feel free to stay after the film to gab.

Tackle It Tuesday
Calling all quilters, stampers, needle crafters and scrap bookers! Want to have a day of fun and accomplishment? We’ll have tables, irons, ironing boards, and cutting mats all set up for your convenience. Drop in and bring your project for a day of crafting, food, and friends. Bring your own lunch; refreshments will be provided.
Tackle It Tuesday takes place at the Parachute Branch Library on Tuesday, May 14 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Gardening in Small Spaces
Come to the Parachute Branch Library on Thursday, May 9 at 2:00 pm for Gardening in Small Spaces. Participants will learn to garden with limited space.
The Good, the Bad, and the Gross
The Good, the Bad, and the Gross is designed for students in grades 4 to 6. This is HANDS on learning its best. Each meeting we challenge you to come ready for the good, the bad, and yes, the really gross!
