Reel Readers: Movie & Book Club Discussion
Read Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte, then come to the Parachute Branch Library on Friday, February 17, at 6:00 p.m. for a screening of the movie and a discussion to follow. Come in and check out Parachute's giant screen and movie theater sound! Popcorn will be provided; participants are invited to bring in finger foods as well. This program is in cooperation with The Friends of the Parachute Library.
Tackle It Tuesday: Complete those projects!
Drop in to the Parachute Branch Library between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. on the second Tuesday of every month and tackle those outstanding crafting projects. There will be plenty of room to spread out in the Community Room. We'll even serve dinner for those who make a reservation in advance; just visit us at the branch or call 285-9870.
Bks2U @ Grand Valley H.S.
Teens, the Parachute Branch Library will deliver books to Grand Valley High School at lunch time on January 4 and February 1. Cool, huh? It's kinda like a bookmobile: they'll bring the books to you (Bks2U) and you can check 'em out with your library card. For more info, contact the library at 285-9870.

Iris Paper Folding
Iris Folding is a fun and exciting way to make spectacular greeting cards and framed art using a template, cardstock, and colored paper strips. Join us at the Parachute Branch Library from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, January 17, to learn how to create amazing cards. We will provide all of the materials needed but space is limited, so please register in advance at the branch or by calling 285-9870.
