5th Element K-2 Class @ New Castle
All future pilots in kindergarten through 2nd grade please report to home base at the New Castle Branch Library on Friday, March 1 from 12 to 2 p.m. to learn about air and flight with Mr.Paul Stanley. Come learn how airplanes, helicopters and hot air balloons travel through the air. We will be making stealthy paper airplanes, gravity defying parachutes and helicopter spinners. Scrabble Club
If you love words, games and having fun, this club is for you! Our adult Scrabble Club meets from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on the second Wednesday of every month at the New Castle Branch Library.
Beginners and experts alike are encouraged to join our club, which is free and open to the public. Make new friends and learn new Scrabble strategies. Scrabble boards, scoring materials and dictionaries are provided.
Daytime Book Club
Join this new book club where we will explore fabulous stories in the light of day. Please come prepared with ideas for future titles, and plan on having a good time sharing your passion for good books. We will be discussing the book "Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet?" by Jamie Ford for the month of April. Light refreshments will be served.
Club meets at the New Castle Branch Library on the second Wednesday of every month at 10:30 am.

Don't miss the last day to see the “The Dust Bowl” exhibit at the New Castle Branch Library. This exhibit examines the story of the Dust Bowl and is free and open to the public during regular library hours. Striking during the depths of the Great Depression, the Dust Bowl blasted the hopes and hard work of people living in the Great Plains. For those who lived through it, the experience was unmatched as an example of ecological calamity and a test of personal will.

Garfield County Libraries presents “The Dust Bowl” exhibit at the New Castle Branch Library from February 1 through 14.
