The Digital Camera Club is meeting on Wednesday, June 8 from 7-9pm. Members are invited to bring interesting pictures of exotic places they have visited abroad or to share obscure photographs of the New Castle area. These pictures will be displayed for the duration of the Summer Reading Program.

The Denver Zoo is bringing a van full of animals from around the globe to GCPLD! Come see all the animals at the New Castle Community Center on Wednesday, July 13th at 10am. This program is only for children in Kindergarten to 5th grade. There will be a special program in the smaller room for toddlers who are too young for the zoo visit. Come check it out -- there will be something for everyone!
Check out "The Noiseguy" at Wednesday, June 22nd at 10am the New Castle Community Center (423 W. Main Street). Charlie "The Noiseguy" Williams returns with his "Many Noises, One Mouth" show. Charlie is a vocal sound impressionist who can imitate the sound of lightsabers, cars, planes, and much, much more! He's also a kids' comedian, author, illustrator, and onomatopoet. He encourages even the most reluctant reader to make noise when they're reading.
