New Castle Branch
Knights and Princesses in kindergarten through 2nd grade are invited to the New Castle Branch Library on Friday, February 1 from 12 to 2 p.m. to learn about medieval times with Mr. Paul Stanley. We will design sheilds, build catapults, and play some medieval games! Supplies and snacks will be provided. This class is limited to 25 children, and preregistration is required to attend this event. Please call 984-2346 or go to www.gcpld.org to preregister.
Toddlers are invited to the New Castle Branch Library for Toddler Storytime every Thursday at 10:30. This program includes simple stories, activities and special friends. It's never too early to come to storytime!
Like to read? This club is open to all teens who like to read and talk about good books with new friend. Stop by the front desk or call to find out what book we will be discussing this month, or bring whatever you are currently reading to the meeting to share your thoughts with us!

Join us at the New Castle Branch Library on Saturday, March 23rd at 1:00 pm for a special matinee showing of Life of Pi!
Teens currently part of TAG, as well as anyone in grades 6-12, are invited to join us at the New Castle Branch Library at 5:00 pm on Monday, March 18th for the chance to help plan programs, purchase books, movies, and music for teens. Stick around for board games, Wii games, and snacks will follow the discussion.
Do you love Manga and Anime? So do we! Join us at the New Castle Branch Library on Thursdays at 5:00 pm to talk about your favorites, get recommendations, and practice your drawing skills.
All preschoolers are invited to join their friends at the New Castle Branch Library every Tuesday at 10:30 for stories, crafts and new friends.
All school aged children are invited to meet at the New Castle Branch Library at 4:30 pm on Thursday, March 7th to explore different arts and crafts. All supplies will be provided, as well as after school snacks.
"What are you reading? Book Club" is a book discussion group for elementary school aged children, from 3rd through 5th grades. Meet at the New Castle Branch Library Tuesday, February 5 and the first Tuesday of every month at 4:30 pm to share your favorite books and authors. After school snacks will be served!
