Teens are invited to come to the New Castle Branch Library for Who Picked This Book... Club to discuss the current month's book and pick a title for the next meeting. The Teen Book Club meets on the second Wednesday of every month at 5 p.m. Call Lee at 984-2346 for more information.
Creating, Developing & Publishing a Book in Today’s Market
Is there a Book in You? Join Misheel Chuluun, local author of “Write a How-to Book in 7 Days,” (authored under pen name Sam Sterling) at the New Castle Branch Library on Wednesday November, 7 at 6 p.m. where she will talk about what aspiring authors can expect to face in the publishing industry. Chuluun will discuss key mistakes new authors make, the latest developments and options in the marketing industry, and new methods for marketing, researching, and publishing.
New Castle Branch Library Digital Camera Club
This is an informal gathering of people interested in all aspects of digital photography, from beginner to seasoned professional. Bring your cameras, questions, and photos in any form. If they are on a disc or memory stick we can project them onto a large screen for all to see. Club meets at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 14th.
Teen Trivia
Teens are invited to join us at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 3rd at the New Castle Branch Library for a special afternoon of trivia! Trivia questions will range from pop-culture, to literature, to US History (with Election Day and Thanksgiving in mind). Battle head to head for cool prizes! Snacks will be provided.
Teen Movie Matinee
Teens are invited to join us at the New Castle Branch Library on Saturday, November 10th at 2:00 p.m. for a special movie matinee showing of Brave.
Writing and Drawing for FUN!
Join other aspiring young writers and illustrators at the New Castle Branch Library on Thursday, December 9th at 4:30 p.m. as we explore the secrets of writing and illustrating. Eventually, we hope to create an anthology of short stories by our local your elementary school age writers and artists. Participants must be able to write.
