3, 2, 1 blast off! Children in 3rd and 4th grades are invited to the New Castle Branch Library on Friday, November 2 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. to learn about rocketry and space exploration with Mr. Stanley. We will learn how rockets work, make a rocket take home project and watch an air rocket launch outside. Supplies and snacks will be provided. Children will create sand paintings and make models of different types of dwellings.  Supplies and snacks will be provided. Stuck at home during your holiday break?  Teens are invited to join us at the New Castle Branch Library for a matinee viewing of The Santa Clause while decorating (and of course eating) some delicious holiday cookies.

Join us at the New Castle Branch Library to make your very own Holiday Cards. Each teen will be able to make at least two personalized cards. Card stock, paints, stensils, stamps, ribbon, glue, picture cutouts, and probably a few other odds and ends will be provided to make your own holiday magic. Teens are invited to come to the New Castle Branch Library for Who Picked This Book... Club to discuss the current month's book and pick a title for the next meeting. The Teen Book Club meets on the second Wednesday of every month at 5:00 p.m. Call Lee at 984-2346 for more information.
