Gordon Cooper Branch

Storytime with Sue takes place at 6:00 p.m. on Mondays at the Gordon Cooper Branch Library.  This special storytime is great for, dads, moms, and children through age 6.  There will be bedtime songs and stories- pajamas optional!  Please note that there will be no program on Monday, October 29th.

Teen Zone takes place at the Gordon Cooper Branch Library Community Room on Wednesdays at 4:00 p.m.  Teens are welcome to study, surf the net, read, write, draw, or hang out.  You can bring your own laptop or borrow one of ours.

McGuire Law, an immigration law firm, is coming to the Glenwood Springs and Gordon Cooper Branch Libraries to host a free information program about the new Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) policy. DACA allows qualifying undocumented immigrants who were brought to the United States as children to receive deferred legal status and work authorization. The program will include a presentation about the policy, including eligibility requirements, methods of application, risks and benefits of applying, and where to find more information.
