Our annual Winter Lecture Series is co-sponsored by the Frontier Historical Society and the Glenwood Springs Branch Library. The series runs from January through April on the third Thursday of each month. All events take place at the Glenwood Springs Branch Library at 7 p.m. and are open to the public. This year our series includes:

Come enjoy hot mulled cider at the Glenwood Springs Branch Library as we celebrate the holiday season. We'll serve the wassail in the library lobby from 2-4 p.m. on Thursday, December 15.

You dreamed…we listened and were inspired! Come learn more about the design of your new library. On Monday, November 7, at 5:00 p.m. the Garfield County Libraries will unveil the Schematic Design for the new Glenwood Springs Branch Library. Project architects Dennis Humphries and Willis Pember will join the Library’s Executive Director Amelia Shelley, Glenwood Springs Branch Manager Pat Conway, and Library District Board Members to review the findings from the Mindbreaking session and go through the entire design process to date.
