This class introduces computer vocabulary including both hardware and software terms. Learn to use the mouse and keyboard. Learn basic computer tasks in a Windows environment, and learn the differences between a document and a program. There are classes offered for both English and English Learning participants. All you need is the willingness to learn! Sign up in advance by calling or visiting your local branch.

This class will review the basic computer tasks in a Windows environment and will review the differences between a document and a program. Learn to create documents, save them in the right place (hard drive or USB), and perform proper shutdown procedures. Completion of “Computers for Beginners Level 1” or basic computer, mouse, and keyboard skills are required to attend this workshop.
