Teen Advisors Group (TAG), is open to anybody between the ages of 13 and 17 and meets the first Wednesday of each month from 4:30 to 5:30 pm. Come and have your say in what books, music, videos and programs to offer the teens of Glenwood Springs. Following a brief meeting, a Manga workshop open to all ability levels will be offered. We will supply paper, drawing ideas and something to draw with, if you don’t have a drawing pen or brush of your own. Snacks will be provided. No sign-up necessary.
If you love words, games, and having fun, this club is for you! Our adult Scrabble Club meets from 5:30-8 p.m. on the first Tuesday of every month at the Glenwood Springs Branch Library. Beginners and experts alike are encouraged to join our club, which is free and open to the public. Make new friends and learn new Scrabble strategies. Scrabble boards, scoring materials, and dictionaries are provided.
Toddlers and their accompanying adults are invited to attend storytime at the Glenwood Springs Branch Library on Tuesdays at 10:30 am.

We will start with a group game and a snack, then younger readers will be partnered with older reading buddies to practice and develop a love for reading. There will also be time to do homework or read independently. Reading Buddies is open to kids from kindergarten through eighth grade and meets at the library at 413 9th Street from 4:00 to 5:00 pm every Tuesday during the school year.
The Glenwood Springs Branch Library is offering a special winter craft night for families with children of elementary or middle school age. We’ll make winter-themed creations and also have the opportunity to make Valentines for a special someone. The free program will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday February 7th at the library at 413 9th Street. Light snacks will be provided.
Be a Reading Buddy after school at the Glenwood Springs Branch Library. After starting off with a group game and snack, younger readers are partnered with older reading buddies to practice and develop a love for reading. Before Reading Buddies is over we also offer those kids who need to do homework or have independent reading time a chance to choose their activity. Tweens (ages 9 to 12) are invited to read and talk about good books at the library. Each member selects their own book to discuss. Tweens will be writing anonymous reviews for a library "magazine" and blog, as well as creating bookmarks about their books (to be displayed in the library). The Tween Book Club meets after school on the second Thursday of each month from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Glenwood Springs Branch Library. Light snacks are served.
Come to the Glenwood Springs Branch Library on the fourth Thursday of every month from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. for Paws to Read! Children in kindergarten through grade 5 can sign up ahead of time to read to a dog. The program is free and will feature dogs and handlers from Heeling Partners of the Roaring Fork Valley.
